First proper session for me, since the close season, but to be honest, it was just for a bit of fun and not a serious one.
I took my little boy to this little match fishery, just outside Ely. Never seen a five year old so excited, and he was quite a pro and brilliant nets man!
Anyway it turned out to be a cracking days fishing, if a bit breezy.
Plenty of small carp and a bonus barbel and chub to keep us busy. Lovely little place, if you fancy a bend in the rod and taking your children out for a spot of fishing. Will head back soon.
